WhatsApp users now have a better way to stay in touch from their PC, as it has released a desktop app for Windows and Mac users. News of the desktop app leaked out early after it was detected by the Twitter accountWABetaInfo, which tracks changes in the service’s various clients. According to a company blog post, the desktop client is similar toWhatsApp Web in that it’s meant to be an extension of your phone, with synchronized conversations and messages. After Facebook’s stellar quarter, which sees users spending massive amounts of time on its mobile apps, including Facebook, Messenger and Instagram, the company announced this morning it’s bringing this popular trio of apps to Windows 10. The company revealed earlier this year that it is porting the Windows Word Flow phone keyboard to iOS, and later reports claimed it would feature a new one-handed mode that looks sort of fanned out. The Windows 10 Mobile keyboard also has a one-handed mode, but the iOS keyboard would serve up a unique, fan-shaped layout instead.
We now know for sure that the one-handed mode exists, as Microsoft has just announced its Windows Phone keyboard for iPhone with a sign up page that indicated beta testers will be able to [...]
