Just unboxed my new Mavic Pro. I’m lucky enough to live near a lake, so this is literally the first flight straight out of the box.
I calibrated, and especially wanted to try out the Active Track mode. Everything was fine apart from my iPhone dropping the video connection. Interestingly the video kept recording and tracking, which was nice, and if I undocked my phone and put it back in, that worked.
First impressions are that it’s amazing and worth every penny. The video quality is amazing and it’s very stable. I’m looking forward to testing out the other modes.

Samsung’s Galaxy S8 is looking to make a huge visual impact with an ‘infinity screen’, reports Samuel Gibbs. Speaking to The Guardian, sources gave details on the advanced screen technology and some of the design cues that will make the Galaxy S8 a visually stunning handset.
Samsung’s Galaxy S8 will come in two sizes, have an almost bezel-less, edge-to-edge “infinity” display and an iris scanner, the Guardian has learned.

Other than this, iOS 10.3 most interesting, and much-needed, feature is ‘Find My AirPods’ — modeled on ‘Find my iPhone’ — that allows users to locate their wireless ear pods within the Bluetooth range of their iOS devices, which are signed in to iCloud.
